Dumpster Rental & Cleanup FAQ

Click on any question below to see the complete answer.

How long can I keep the rental dumpster?
Our standard rental window is typically 3 to 7 days, which is ample time for most home cleanouts, roofing jobs, and residential remodels. If your project takes longer than expected, simply give us a call before your pickup date to arrange extra days at an affordable daily rate.
Will the dumpster cause damage to my driveway?
No! We take driveway protection seriously. Our delivery drivers place protective wooden boards underneath the contact points of the roll-off container to ensure the metal wheels never make direct contact with your asphalt, concrete, or pavers.
What items are NOT allowed inside the dumpsters?
In compliance with Florida environmental regulations and St. Lucie County disposal laws, prohibited items include: wet paints, vehicle batteries, motor oils, fuels, hazardous chemicals, asbestos, sealed propane tanks, and appliances containing Freon (refrigerators and AC units) unless drained and certified.
Do I need a city permit to rent a dumpster in Port St. Lucie?
If the container is placed on your private property—such as your driveway or private job site—no municipal permit is required. Permits are typically only needed if the container must block public sidewalks, alleys, or city streets. Be sure to verify your HOA rules if you live in a gated or deed-restricted community.
How high can I fill the container?
Debris must remain level with the top rim of the dumpster. By Florida Department of Transportation regulations, all loads must be tarped during transit. Overfilled containers with materials sticking out over the edges cannot be safely transported.
What is the difference between Dumpster Rental and Junk Removal?
Dumpster Rental provides you with a roll-off container placed on your driveway so you can load debris at your own pace over several days. With Full Junk Removal, our crew arrives with a truck, does all the heavy lifting and loading on the spot, and hauls everything away within hours.
Do I have to be home when the dumpster is delivered?
Not necessarily! As long as your driveway is clear of parked cars and low-hanging wires, and you provide specific placement instructions when ordering, our driver can deliver and secure the container without you needing to take off work.
